Thomas goller represents klosterlangheim
The election of the local spokesman was the focus of a meeting hosted by the city of lichtenfels. Thomas goller was the only candidate to stand for election, and he also received the trust of the residents.
Mayor andreas hugerich described the local spokesman as an important link between the city council and the local residents. Nothing was left to chance at the local meeting, because in addition to the distance regulations and compliance with the hygiene regulations, a tent had even been erected to prevent any weather-related eventualities. The mayor mentioned bernhard christoph by name, who did not run again in the municipal elections, but who had kept an open ear for the burghers for decades and always brought his knowledge and experience to bear for his home town in the work of the town council. The town meeting was a good opportunity to thank him for his voluntary work, which also received a lot of applause from the residents. In klosterlangheim, there are important tasks with the village renewal, the local museum and the local chapel.
In the election of local representatives, mayor andreas hugerich stated that klosterlangheim currently had 311 eligible voters, who with 112 votes cast created the conditions for an assembly to elect local representatives. Although the local spokesman only attends the city council meetings in an advisory capacity, he knows best what is important, can ask questions locally and is also listened to in the city council. The term of office is analogous to that of the city council of lichtenfels and thus ends on 30. April 2026.
The election was conducted by peter zillig from the city administration and an election committee appointed from the middle of the meeting. When asked, a whole series of burgers were nominated, but they were not prepared to stand for election. Only thomas goller agreed. For the secret ballot, everyone had to go to the fire station of klosterlangheim, but it was quite drafty, so that election director peter zillig was soon able to announce the official election results. Of the 78 votes cast, 60 were valid, and of these, thomas goller received 46 votes. On questioning of the responsible persons he expressed that he would take over the office of the local speaker, which also found the applause of the assembly visitors. Congratulations were expressed by mayor andreas hugerich, the other mayors sabine riebner and third mayor mathias sollner, the town councillors as well as the local association representatives and the village community.
