Dr.-schneider group celebrates 90.

For the dr.-2017 is a very special year for the schneider group of companies – the international automotive supplier celebrated its 90th anniversary this weekend with a big family day and gala evening. More than 5,000 visitors came to see the plant in kronach-neuses.
The family day offered a varied program – starting with tours of the production facilities, a roadshow of exclusive cars in which dr. From the schneider products to the goal wall slide, foosball, bouncy castles, and a raffle with lucrative prizes.
The foreign sites (china, poland, spain, u.S.A.) also had a lot of fun – they offered various culinary delicacies and gave visitors a cultural insight into their respective countries. The day was rounded off with a gala evening for all employees of the group of companies.

Contemporary working conditions

In addition to the anniversary event, dr. Schneider celebrated further highlights in the past few days. The new management& project center at the kronach-neuses parent plant was inaugurated and the final planning phase for the new technology& process center has begun. The recently completed management& project center officially inaugurated. The extension building on the northeastern edge of the company’s premises will offer modern working conditions for a good 280 employees on an area of around 4300 square meters. The building will house the shareholders, management, sales and marketing, legal, communications, organization/processes/corporate strategy, sales controlling and business units.

Thanks to the city and county

With state-of-the-art offices and meeting rooms, a process-oriented structure and the best technical infrastructure, the M& P-center the future viability of dr.-schneider group of companies. The new building is also a statement by the supplier to the kronach-neuses site in terms of sustainability and energy supply. "Through internationalization, we have evolved into a global family of companies – but our ties to our home country have always remained intact", emphasizes parag shah, chairman of the management board. "We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the city and county of kronach for their continued support of our construction work."
In order to remain in the best possible technological position in the future, dr. Schneider has already given the go-ahead for the next construction project: the technology & service center is also to be built at the kronach-neuses site process center, a state-of-the-art industrialization center, to be built. Preparations are already underway.
These investments will, among other things, increase capacities in tool and fixture construction. Under the challenge of industry 4.0, IT technologies are to be merged with production processes to enable new, innovative products and services and to develop forward-looking technologies for the market.
A special highlight will be the top-quality apprentice workshop, which is to be built for the more than 100 industrial apprentices and will set new standards in terms of digitalization and networking. "This is how we can best prepare our trainees for the working world of tomorrow", according to shah.
Construction machinery is rolling out not only at the headquarters in kronach-neuses, but also at the tschirn site. The group of companies is building another warehouse for the spare parts service there.
